What’s different about making a video with Carlos Venegas?
Launching a video project is a business decision with business consequences. What’s more, your finished video will fit into a business process. Examples of business processes include lead generation, harm mitigation, training, enhancing client/customer satisfaction, client retention, employee retention…the list goes on.
I help you get clear on where the video will fit in your process, and how it should function within that process. I shape the video production to intentionally support that business process.
How do I do that? By going beyond the obvious video production questions of “what do you want me to shoot?” and “how long do you want it to be?” We are guided by process-oriented questions:
- What’s your business goal?
- How do you want the video to support that business goal?
- How does the video fit into the business process that you are trying to affect?
- How does it fit in the overall business process?
- How will this video be used, and by whom?
- What do you want the viewer to know, understand, do, and feel as a result of viewing the video?
Asking these questions will make a huge difference in the video product. Sure, videos are fun to make and watch, but it’s important to remember that making the video is a business decision.
